Copper & Marvel

This is kind of late but... introducing my cats! Copper (foreground) and Marvel!

My wife and I adopted them from SPCA on 28th Dec. Copper was 1 yr old then and Marvel was 9.5 mths old. Both are tabbys but they are not related (though SPCA claimed to have caught them at the same area on different dates). Yes, they are boys. :)

You may be wondering, why 2 cats and not just 1? Well my wife originally had set her eyes on Marvel but I was impressed by Copper's mannerism (he has very good temper, very accomodating when I deliberately squeezed the dozing Marvel onto his bed). Both of them hung around very close together like inseparable twin brothers. As a result, we got both of them. (As I'm typing this blog entry, Copper is busily sniffing out my PC monitor.)

The 2nd picture taken is of Marvel. Now he has grown from a kitten to a (blurr) teenager!

As seen from the 3rd picture, both cats like to hang around close to each other, as well as napping together too. Marvel is always the clownish one who always 失态. Whereas Copper is the always cool and handsome dude who is looking over his 'baby brother'.

We had bought them the usual pet toys but they weren't impressed. But when I threw a piece of crumpled paper onto the floor, they chased after it as if it was a rat. Ended up having a lot of cheap DIY toys for them such as a plastic bag and toilet roll.

Marvel behaves like a cry baby most of the time and is a little 'himbo' too. As for Copper, he is very cool, always checking out the surroundings like pet patrol. He has a fetish of drinking from the tap too. How strange.
