Transformers - A Cat & Dog Affair?

Having had my two cats for a year, I began to realise that when they sleep, their faces look like the Transformers Decepticon insignia.

Now look at the Autobot insignia, doesn't it resemble a bulldog?

Perhaps, being smarter, Cats are depicted as Decepticons since it is always the baddies that come up with 'creative' mischiefs while it will take the good guys a somewhat a longer time to realise and solve the problem.
