GE 2006 had long ended but many of their promises has been unveiled ever since. By 2010, Singapore is really going to be one exciting city to live in. By 2010, we will have the MRT Circle line running; the two IRs up and cash registers ringing; the largest Ferris wheel of Southeast Asia spinning in Marina Bay; the development of the Marina Bayfront area; more ecstatic lightings from CBD buldings; the revitalising of Punggol 21; the operational-readiness of the third Changi Airport Terminal; development of the southern islands; the transformation of Orchard Road; Formula One cars zooming around the CBD and Marina area etc... So who says Singapore is a boring place?
The thought of all these "happenings" really makes my heart pump faster. There's something for us to look forward to, really. Singapore is really going to be an exciting place to be. Aren't you proud to be a citizen of this "happening " country?
So that's how Singapore sees herself in three years' time. What about you? How do you see yourself in three years' time? Will you be keeping up to the pace of this exciting city?
Maybe that's not an important question. The important thing is to be happy. =)
