The past week can only be described with one word - hectic.
Yes, I am referring to the wedding photo shoot and the hunt for the 'one' interior designer (ID) that can create the magic for our new home. Lugging my laptop on countless cab trips to these 'sales' presentations (on our ideas and requirements) are draining my introverted 'yang' energy. The more presentations I make, the more I realise that our 'modern retro' demands are actually quite high and involves quite a budget to work with, in view of the major dry and wet works to be involved. However these guys were very much impressed by our (actually, they belong mainly to my wife) design ideas and the homework we've done up prior to meeting them. Hopefully they get back to us fast for us to make a decision and have the house in move-in condition in June.
As for the wedding photo shoot, we went to Spottiswoode Park road, Victoria Concert Hall, Stamford Arts Centre and Labrador Park. By mid afternoon, my face was already cracking from all the 'smiles'. Walking around in the suit and gown in crowded places like Waterloo street and Jalan Besar area sure was fun. EVERYBODY is staring at us and even a Thai tourist can't resist to take a quick snap with us. :p
