Tom or Garfield?

Would you want to have a Tom or Garfield to catch your household pests for you? The former being more active and more involved in its traditional feline role while the latter is more of a laid back couch potato.

Come to think of it, they sort of represent (if I may be so bold to generate it to our times) people then and now. As life gets more comfortable, we tend to shift ourselves into 3rd or 2nd gear. We may even lose our natural (basic survival) instincts as we rely more and more on other people or machines to things for us. We may know how to perform that task in the past but if we are to put ourselves to the test now, we may have nowhere to hide our heads. :p

Tom is not so cute but sure knows how to hunt and get things done. Garfield is cute but needs some re-training on catching mice then 'swopping' innocent spiders.

So are you a Tom or a Garfield? ;) I just wish to be an Odie, happy and ignorant. Well they say ignorance is a bliss. Haaa...
