Mosquito Man

If I'm not mistaken, the "Mosquito Man" was telecast on Channel 5 last Friday night. I had a chance to catch the repeat telecast at my In-laws' place as my FIL had taped it.

To sum things up, its storyline is similar to the Incredible Hulk. An experiment on mosquitoes had gone haywire, causing an in-mate (who was supposed to be some guinea pig for the experiment) to be exposed to some radiation. A female scientist was also exposed to it.

As it turns out, the man mutated into a giant mosquito, who went out to terrorise the public as well as to look for the female mosquito (the scientist) to mate. In the end, the scientist managed to destroy both the mosquito man and herself (by electrocution) as she was on the verge of mutating as well (I was hoping to see them using a giant fly swat or bygone / shelltox).

It's quite a "B" grade movie shot about 8-9 years ago. However the image of the Mosquito man is so disgusting that it looks more like a giant cockroach than anything else. Sad to say, every now and then, the scary image would appear in my head and eeewww... :6

That goes to show how "successful" this movie is.
